Welcome to Taxido. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("The User") and Taxido (a registered company in India, founded by Levin Kathar). By installing, accessing, or using the Taxido app, you agree to these terms.

Age: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (Name, Phone Number) during registration.
Taxido acts as a technology platform (aggregator) that connects users looking for transportation with third-party drivers ("Captains/Drivers"). Taxido does not own the vehicles and is not a transportation carrier.
Booking: Rides are subject to the availability of drivers in your vicinity.
Cancellations:
Users may cancel a booking at any time.
Cancellation Fee: A fee may be charged if you cancel after the driver has already arrived or if the cancellation occurs 5 minutes after booking.
Driver Refusal: Drivers reserve the right to refuse a ride if the user is intoxicated, abusive, or if the destination is unsafe.
Estimates: The fare shown at the time of booking is an estimate. The final fare may vary slightly due to traffic or route changes.
Payment Methods: We accept Cash, UPI, and In-App Wallet payments.
Taxes: Fares are inclusive of applicable Indian taxes (GST).
Zero Tolerance: We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior towards drivers.
Prohibited Items: Carrying illegal substances, weapons, or hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.
Damages: Users are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle (e.g., vomiting, tearing seats) beyond normal wear and tear.
At Your Own Risk: The use of the service is at your sole risk.
Personal Belongings: Taxido is not responsible for any personal items left behind in a vehicle, though we will assist in trying to recover them.
Service Interruptions: We are not liable for delays or failures resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, internet outages).
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam.
